Prefab Homes

Is your site ready for a prefab home?

Use this checklist to review road access, utilities, foundation assumptions, drainage, staging space, and maintenance access before requesting a quote.

Check Road and Driveway Access

Measure road and driveway width at narrow points, turning radius, grades, and overhead limits. Photos of the approach and placement area screen delivery access before a quote.

Locate Utilities and Hookups

Find power, water, sewer or septic, and gas points. Note distances to the home footprint and overhead lines that may block lifts or cranes.

Verify Staging and Placement Space

Confirm level open ground for modules plus truck and crane room. Check the footprint for trees, fences, slopes, or soft spots that affect placement.

Review Drainage and Slope

Observe water flow, low areas, ditches, and erosion. The home requires drainage away from the foundation; soil and grading details need local review.

Plan Service Access After Install

Keep shutoffs, panels, and maintenance points clear for future landscaping, fencing, or decks. Service vehicles need access long term.

Engage Local Pros for Technical Items

Use this checklist, maps, and photos for access and space questions. Survey, soil tests, septic design, utility taps, and permits require licensed local professionals. Bring notes to your quote inquiry.
